Logistics

The parts nobody wants to organise.

Hotel based or hut to hut

Stay in the comfort of your five star hotel and travel out each morning, or commit fully to the range and sleep high. Both formats are fully organised.

Luggage and transfers handled

Vehicles, valley transfers and luggage movements are arranged in advance so that you never carry more than a day pack.

Weather-led routing

The itinerary is a framework, not a contract. Lois shifts objectives across the range to follow the best snow and the safest aspects.

Full safety protocol

Daily avalanche assessment, transceiver drills on day one, and a certified guide who has read these faces for over twenty seasons.

Questions

Planning a multi-day tour.

Not for the three day traverse. You need to be a confident off-piste skier with good general fitness, and Lois teaches the uphill technique on the first morning. Longer tours assume some previous touring days.

The tour continues elsewhere. The Dolomites are large enough that there is nearly always a safe and beautiful alternative, and Lois carries several parallel plans for every tour.

Multi-day tours in February and March are typically reserved four to eight months ahead. A 30 percent deposit secures the dates. Occasional short-notice windows do appear, so it is always worth asking.

Yes. Premium touring skis, boots, skins and safety equipment can be rented and delivered to your hotel before the tour begins.
